Norton St. in Leichhardt is the place to go for a good selection of Italian food in Sydney. It seems the whole street is bejewelled with both cosy and stylish eateries. We couldn't get into the hot pick for the week as it was Saturday night so, drawn in by the crowd and sleek setting, we gave Tuscany Ristorante a whirl. Pastas, risotto and bruschetta were all delicious. Waitstaff were efficient and quite happy to make recommendations from the menu or weekly specials list. Fresh ingredients combined with non-complicated Tuscan preparation ensured a gratifying meal. Prices are reasonable for Sydney with mains costly mostly between $20 and $30AUD.
