Venzuelan Food at Samplings, Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur

Que rico!!! Don't miss out on this chance to sample some delicious Venezuelan cuisine.  Guest chef Carmen Rawstron, of the recently published book My Venezuelan Cuisine, is only at Samplings, Berjaya Times Square until Sunday May 8th.  You can order a la carte or savour a set meal.  Dinner sets range from 98 - 168RM.  The lunch menu is a little cheaper.  The event not to miss will be the buffet brunch from 11am - 3pm, Sunday May 8th for only 55RM per person.  This is a bargain for the quality of the food served and the chance to listen to some live Latin music too.  Everything is delish, but for a true Venezuelan experience you must try the Empanaditas - deep fried bites of yum (corn based dough filled with black beans) and the Pabellon Criollo - traditional Venezuelan meal eaten anytime of the day with rice, black beans, shredded beef and sweet fried plantains.  For dessert go for the Torta Llorona (Crying Cake as it oozes warm chocolate sauce when opened) and the Bienmesabe (the name in Spanish says it all - I Taste Good!) And... for those of you in the know... they even have Diplomatico!  This fine, smooth, sweet rum is the only way to begin, accompany or end a perfect Venezuelan evening.
