Nero Vivo, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Nerovivo has been consistently good since opening, even with a change in ownership (a quality rare to find in KL). All things Italian can be found here, including the chef. I enjoy visiting this place for lunch during the week, or Friday and Saturday nights, when the place is buzzing with customers and good ambience music (NO 80's music! another rare find in Asia). The walls are decorated with bold paintings by Sandra Knuyt and a great selection of Italian wines are available. I've had delicious experiences with their pizza, pasta (gnocchi - yum!), seafood (seabass :-) and meat dishes (lamb rack). For something lighter, and of great value, the antipasto buffet available at lunch for 34++, or 54++ including a main plate and coffee, is a satisfying option.
